It came up to further expand on how one can begin to see how “time” does not actually exist, that it is a man-made concept that has confused people for centuries into thinking they are getting somewhere.
Let’s look at time and our place in it like we look at our computer. The computer stores information, it may look like it stores it in “time” there is a “history” of your life in it (we are talking about personal computers) it stores pictures, and writings and all kinds of information about your interests. If you go into it, appears as if events have happened one after another. However, let us say that the computer has a fatal crash and the information is not recoverable, everything that you have saved about yourself (who you think you are) is lost. There is no way to retrieve it, yet you still exist without the information. All time was lost in one instant and yet you still exist.
Now see yourself as a computer (just for humors sake) and all the information that you believe about yourself, which has looked like it has progressed in a linear fashion, gets completely wiped out just like the computer did (this literally happens to people a permanent memory loss where they have to re-learn or be taught who they are, however they still exist prior to relearning, even though they lose everything they ever knew … all time related events).
Are you able to begin to see that time is an illusion? A man-made thing so that it appears as if things are moving forward or have happened in the past, yet if you lose the past and the future, you still completely exist right now and furthermore, were you to lose the body/computer, you still exist without it because you now see that the computer itself could crash or disappear and yet that was only a storage facility.
For a further clarification, when the computer crashes you still have an internal archive of information of all the things that were on it, we call them “memories” there is also a database that you are in (although most are not aware of it) that stores the information that you record (as you go through life) and when you crash (death) that information is not lost it is just stored, but not stored as time … just simply stored information.
It would be near impossible to explain how this Infinite mainframe of information keeps records, yet when you tap into the infinite the impossible does not seem impossible at all, it simply is the way it is.
When these possibilities of “timelessness” are allowed to manifest in the mind … they open doors and you will see that all “time” (which actually isn’t “time”) is happening right now … a file can be pulled out and one can see that file being lived in real-time (heh!) as it is opened … not 2000 years ago not 2000 years from now … it is happening as this is typed.
And just like the computer requires either an upgrade or a replacement, the body is no different ... one could say that "death" and "birth" of the body are God/or the Infinite's way of upgrading it's computers.
This is just an example of something that is quite challenging to explain. A computer telling another computer that it actually doesn’t exist … that it is just an accumulation of stored information that is playing out like a YouTube video and one thinks that it is who they are. The good news is that, if you have read this far, you are beginning to know it for yourself. You are beginning to discover that you are not who you think you are, but something much greater than what can be thought or stored.
