A clean slate is what life is written upon
You don’t know what is happening until it’s going on
You’re always one step behind what it is you see
A Clean Slate is the Truth of who you are … not what you’re trying to be
Envision windshield wipers wiping behind your eyes
Clearing out all the thoughts you have which ultimately are lies.
Once the thoughts are removed, you can clearly see
The beauty that’s inside of you, what is there naturally
A clean slate is the Truth of you…it’s the only thing that lasts
Check it for yourself you’ll see, it has no future or past
A clean slate is in the present moment, the one that you are in
It is here for you right now you see, it is what has always been
It has no judgments, opinions, ideas, thoughts, beliefs or such
A clean slate comes before anything that you can see or touch.
A clean slate doesn’t need forgiveness or anything at all
A clean slate needs no prayer to be, it’s the answer to all calls.
All one is required to do, is drop the story their telling
That a clean slate isn’t offered them, that’s the story their selling
But a clean slate is for one and all, it’s the birthright of your life
It doesn’t matter where you were born, your religion or your plight
It doesn’t matter if you are a saint, a murderer or thief
A clean slate is for one and all, it’s the ultimate relief
That you’ve been wrong about who you are
You made a misss-take along the way
You thought that you were - what you thought
Not the clean slate that doesn’t sway
To the changes of the tides of life
It’s what you can hold onto during strife
It’s the calm in the center of the storm
It’s the brightness that can be relied upon
To be there unmoving when you flinch
The resting place when you are entrenched
In thoughts that say that you are something else
The clean slate is truly the only help
You will ever need in this world to be, the Light for everyone to See.
So let all your stories of what you want, of who you are or what you thought
Be wiped away in this instant now
Your life before you, you don’t know how
It will be lived but you know
With this Truth Love will grow
And the only mistake that you can make...
Is paying attention to the story or the clean slate.
